Child's First Visit

A comprehensive new patient appointment for a child will be 1 hour long and the same new patient paperwork will be emailed to the parent or guardian to be completed prior to the first visit. Depending on your child’s age and comfort level in the dental chair, you can feel free to accompany him or her to the operatory or you are welcome to wait up front, whatever you and your family feel most comfortable with. The general recommendation is that children have their first visit to the dentist sometime between 12 and 24 months of age. Our entire team is well versed in caring for young patients and we all have children, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren at home so please don’t worry, we’ ve got this! If you would like to speak with a doctor prior to your child’s first visit, please don’t hesitate to call us.
